“IPod generation” is in serious trouble

It is 3: 00 in the morning and I couldn't sleep. A few days ago, I read a story in the high unemployment in Europe and how young people find it so hard to find a job ("Europe's lost generation: no jobs or hope for The Young," The Globe and Mail, 11/07/11). Due to the lack of job creation here in North America, I didn't get the idea of our children have the future of my head.

My mind was racing from India, Europe, North America, for my own children, the lack of job creation. After being in Europe two times this summer, I saw firsthand the plight of the young, educated people who just can't find a job, despite how desperately they see, because there are no jobs to be had. There is no job creation in Europe.

According to the International Labour Organization, the youth unemployment rate (under 25) is 29% in Italy, 44% in Greece and 48% in Spain. "The IPod generation," as they are often called, is in serious trouble, as industrialized nations failed on job creation.

The fundamental problem with job creation in Europe and North America is increasing the role of India and China have in the global economy. All major European countries, the United States, and Canada have jobs Twitter after World War II. The city is being built in Europe, North America's manufacturing machine in high gear, and the factory was busy making everything from widget, a refrigerator, to cars. Job creation is complete equipment.
